WILLEMSTAD - Tomorrow morning the parliament of Curaçao will meet to discuss the future of the refinery and the current problems with regard to forged documents.
The opposition would have liked a public meeting, but the coalition has decided to deal with the issue in a central committee meeting.
Invited parties are the government-limited company Refineria di Kòrsou, the owner of the refinery, and the Caribbean Petroleum Refinery. Both parties are negotiating the operation of the Isla refinery and transshipment company at Bullenbaai.
The subject of discussion is the forged documents that were brought in by CPR in the takeover process, which, among other things, gave the impression that there was solid financing behind CPR.
