Parliament of Curaçao enters recess; set to reconvene with agenda on receiver's files

WILLEMSTAD - The Parliament of Curaçao has commenced its recess starting from Monday, granting parliamentarians a vacation period until Friday, August 16th. During this hiatus, no parliamentary sessions are scheduled. Parliament is slated to resume its activities on Monday, August 19th.

Upon reconvening, the central committee will prioritize the cleansing of the Receiver's files, a continuation from discussions initiated during a session held on May 11th last year. This agenda item aims to address ongoing administrative matters crucial to the effective functioning of governmental operations.

The recess allows parliamentarians time to engage in constituency work, prepare for upcoming legislative agendas, and attend to other responsibilities.
