WILLEMSTAD - The coronavirus creates a lot of uncertainty for all interns on the island. Dozens were confused and panicking at the Wereldstage building yesterday.

They wanted to know what the recent developments mean for their internship and stay on Curaçao.

The students say that as a precautionary measure, universities of applied sciences have called them to stop the internship in Curaçao and to return to the Netherlands because of the rapid and constant developments worldwide.

Some interns have already decided to terminate their internship early.
