WASHINGTON - Baseball player Ozzie Albies, along with the Atlanta Braves, paid a visit to US President Joe Biden. The team was invited to the White House for its 2021 World Series victory.

The Braves were given a private tour of the White House and talked to Biden about the final game. The whole team was there, including the injured Duvall and Albies. The Curaçaoan broke his finger during his first game after an earlier injury of three months.

"It feels great to be here," Albies told Gray Television's Washington News Bureau. “I always see the White House in movies and from the outside, to actually be here now is fantastic.”

Biden called the World Series victory a great achievement. Despite being a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, the president was presented with a personalized Braves jersey with the number 46 jersey.
