WILLEMSTAD - Former pastor Orlando Balentien has no chance to get out of his verdict at the Supreme Court. The self-proclaimed pastor of the Rains of Blessings church is serving a 14-year sentence for abusing teenagers and young adult women in his church.
He also received a 19-year professional ban. The Attorney General finds the evidence sufficiently reasoned and the same applies to the sentencing.
The Supreme Court generally takes over the advice of the Attorney General.
