WILLEMSTAD - Orco Bank places great importance on the pillar Education, thus the bank sponsored the program “Hulanda mi ta bai!” held by Virtual Youth Support in the first weekend of March, whereby twenty-two (22) students got a taste of their upcoming student life in the Netherlands.
These youngsters are preparing to continue their studies in the Netherlands coming summer. To have a good start in this next phase, these students followed a series of webinars, such as Starting your student life well prepared, Budgeting, Assertiveness and Dealing with freedom. But the organization also arranged for exercises in real-life situations, such as grocery shopping, budgeting and food preparation.
Virtual Youth Support’s mission is to ensure the students receive a good reception and guidance in the Netherlands, to successfully complete their studies. The organization has years of experience in higher and academic education in the Netherlands, which enables the organization the needed experience to provide students with the necessary assistance.
