WILLEMSTAD - The Public Prosecution Service (OM) will use a bus this year to 'go to the citizen'. The OM announced this in a press release.
The Public Prosecution Service wants to be visible in the neighborhoods, because a visit to the offices at the Temple or the Waaigat would have too high a threshold for the citizen. That is why a bus with a mobile office is now being deployed, which will drive around from Bandariba to Bandabou for service and information. Visitors can drop by for questions about outstanding fines, collection, payment arrangements, mediation, compensation and victim care.
The bus will be unveiled in the parking lot of Mangusa Hypermarket on Friday.
