WILLEMSTAD - Yesterday, the demolition of part of the shopping center next to Landhuis Chobolobo (Curaçao Liqueur) began. Among other things, the old branch of Samson bookstore has been demolished. This marks the start of the newest project by Taubco Management. It concerns Project Chobolobo Plaza, a shopping center on Schottegatweg-Oost designed with architecture based on a modern version of the Handelskade in Punda.
There will be space for shops and restaurants. Taubco Management is a family-owned company founded 90 years ago. Over the past decades, they have invested in various real estate projects.
