Local | By Correspondent September 6, 2022

WILLEMSTAD - The Public Prosecution Service has demanded 120 hours of community service for an officer who allegedly leaked information to an informant. He would have told, among other things, when and where a criminal case suspect would be arrested.

Yesterday, the police officer's case was dealt with substantively. The Public Prosecution Service also demands that the suspect not be allowed to practice his profession for 2 years. And a one-year probationary period. According to the police officer, he was not aware that he was doing anything wrong. During the hearing, it appeared that it is more common for agents to share confidential information with informants. The judge will rule within three weeks.
