WILLEMSTAD - The court has rejected Nina Ansary's demand for a rectification of statements made by the Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten (CBCS).
The CBCS is not required to rectify the statements, as recent pronouncements have confirmed the accuracy of the press releases, including the mention of the daughter of Ennia owner Hushang Ansary. She sought clear exoneration in the Ennia debacle, but the court found the central bank's statements to be accurate and not detrimental to her reputation.
The court ruled that the press releases were accurate based on the facts at the time and subsequent updates.
