WILLEMSTAD - There have been no significant incidents during the New Year. Police spokesman Imro Zwerver announced this. There were some collisions because drivers were driving under the influence of alcohol, but no serious incidents.

Also, with regard to accidents with fireworks, things have remained calm. The police have not received any reports about this.
