WILLEMSTAD - The St. Elisabeth Foundation, the owner of the old Sehos hospital, has not been held liable for damages to a project developer from Breda following the termination of their partnership last year.
The companies Schonck, Schul & Compagnie and Steenco had plans to transform the old hospital into a tourist attraction, but the foundation withdrew from the partnership citing alleged breach of contract.
The project developer considered this withdrawal unjust, but the court has rejected the 5 million euro claim.
The foundation is now seeking a new partner for the redevelopment of the site in Otrobanda.
