WILLEMSTAD - The Healthcare Inspectorate has not yet given the green light for the opening of the new hospital.
The Curacao Medical Center must be open in just a few days, but if the Inspectorate does not give approval, the problems will first have to be addressed. The opening will then take place later.
According to spokesperson Clifton Wallé, it is quite normal for a hospital to be opened while there are still points for attention. In any case, patient safety is not compromised, according to Wallé.
It was announced that the new hospital will open its doors this coming Friday November 15.
