WILLEMSTAD – The Department of Public Affairs, Kranshi, has issued a statement informing the community about the quality of service it provides to the public. Kranshi stresses that its services do not prioritize any individual or group, ensuring that everyone receives the same level of attention and assistance, in line with established regulations and protocols.
Kranshi has taken note of an article published in the media on Thursday, April 25, 2025, which claimed that the department might offer selective service with preferential treatment. The department clarified that such claims are unfounded and that Kranshi, along with other departments under the Ministry of Governance, Planning, and Public Services, is regularly audited to ensure and improve the quality of service provided to the people of Curaçao. The aim is to guarantee that all clients, without exception, receive the same attention and care.
The processes and procedures within Kranshi are clearly outlined, ensuring that all citizens receive uniform treatment. The department also maintains continuous supervision to uphold service standards and client satisfaction across Curaçao.
In the past, Kranshi noted certain cases where individuals had misused the department’s services, either by receiving incorrect information or receiving documents that did not match the actual situation. In response, Kranshi has tightened controls on certain documents and procedures. Although this may have led some to believe that the department was providing preferential service, the department reassures the public that this is not the case.
Kranshi employees diligently review and verify all documents in accordance with established rules to prevent any incorrect registrations. The department emphasizes that there is no room for discrimination, selective treatment, or preferential service toward any individual. Should any public employee at Kranshi be found to engage in such behavior, disciplinary action will be taken.
The department further states that maintaining the integrity of official records is a priority, and this remains a fundamental principle at Kranshi. The stringent document controls are applied at all times, ensuring that no preferential treatment is extended to any group or nationality.
With this clarification, Kranshi hopes to dispel any misunderstandings circulating in the community and reaffirms its commitment to serving all citizens equally.
