WILLEMSTAD - Motorists in Willemstad will notice that new texts have been added beneath the traffic signs prohibiting 'U-turns.' These signs, now specifically featuring the texts 'No U-turn' and 'No girar en U,' are an initiative of the Public Works Department (OW). 

The aim of the bilingual texts, both in English and Spanish, is to make it clearer to drivers what the signs mean. 

This initiative arises from the need to increase traffic safety and reduce confusion among drivers. By providing instructions in two languages, the Public Works Department aims to reach a broader group of motorists and ensure a better understanding of traffic rules.
