WILLEMSTAD - The new Parliamentary Year was opened on Tuesday morning. In the new year, the President of Parliament Charetti America-Francisca of the MFK party will also introduce two new concepts: the interruption option and the question time.
The interruption option gives Members of Parliament the option to interrupt each other and ask questions. Question time will take place on Thursdays. A minister is invited to answer pressing questions.
A record number of meeting requests were made in the past year of Parliament. 139 meetings actually took place.
