WILLEMSTAD – The new ministers of the Pisas III Cabinet will be officially sworn in on Monday, June 9 at 1:00 PM by Governor Lucille George-Wout. The announcement was made in an official statement by the Ministry of General Affairs.
Formateur Chester Peterson submitted his final report to the governor on June 2, recommending the appointment of the candidate ministers who successfully completed the screening process. The governing program for the 2025–2029 period was also presented to the governor.
According to the ministry, Governor George-Wout confirmed—following consultations with outgoing Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas—that all formal requirements for the installation of the new cabinet have been met.
All incoming ministers are members of the MFK party. Among them are Charretti America-Francisca, who will head the Ministry of Social Development, Labor and Welfare (SOAW), and Roderick Middelhof, who will become Minister of Economic Development (MEO). The Ministry of Governance, Planning and Public Service (BPD) will be led by Kimberley Lew-Jen-Tai.
Four ministers from the previous cabinet will retain their posts: Javier Silvania will continue overseeing both the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Health, Environment and Nature (GMN), while Sithree van Heydoorn remains at the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports (OWCS). Charles Cooper will stay on at the Ministry of Traffic, Transportation and Urban Planning (VVRP), and Shalten Hato will continue as Minister of Justice. Gilmar Pisas remains Prime Minister.
