WILLEMSTAD - Curt Belfor is the new CEO of Bureau Telecommunication and Post (BT&P) from January. The company reports that, under the leadership of Belfor, it will act as a supervisor that is committed to promoting developments in innovation and well-being.
According to the company, Belfor's predecessor, Franklin Sluis, has had an important impact on various developments within the organization until 2022. Now it is up to Belfor to take over. He has more than twenty years of experience as an expert in the field of policy and legislation within various companies and organizations.
Belfor has been working at BT&P since 2017. He first held the role of senior Regulatory Advisor and then as interim director. Before his career at BT&P, Belfor gained experience at the Council of State and various Dutch ministries. In Curaçao, the new CEO was active in the former Antillean government.
“From 2023, BT&P will focus on providing more general information to the public about BT&P's role as a regulator. This will contribute to transparency. Under the leadership of Curt Belfor, BT&P will continue to act as a regulator where transparency, proportionality, and innovation are of paramount importance,” the company said.
