WILLEMSTAD - The Minister of Finance of Curaçao has officially submitted the long-awaited National Regulation on Gambling (LOK) to the Parliament.
In a statement, Minister Silvania expressed excitement about this crucial development, stating, "We are very pleased to have reached this final phase. The submission of the LOK to Parliament is not just a procedural step but a leap toward transformative progress."
The minister further emphasized that the LOK is the result of extensive consultations and collaborations within the entire online gambling industry.
According to him, this inclusive approach ensures that the new legislation is well-rounded, practical, and meets the diverse needs of all current and future stakeholders. It is expected to bring unprecedented revenue and employment opportunities to Curaçao.
