WILLEMSTAD – Curaçao’s new Honorary Consul of Denmark, Kirsten Römer, paid an introductory visit to Governor Mauritsz de Kort on Tuesday, September 1.
During the meeting, Römer and De Kort discussed the role and responsibilities of the Honorary Consul as well as relations between Denmark and Curaçao.

Römer was accompanied during the visit by Darryllin van der Veen, Director of the Directorate of Foreign Relations of Curaçao.
The jurisdiction of Denmark’s Honorary Consul in Willemstad covers both Curaçao and Aruba.
The introductory meeting forms part of Römer’s new diplomatic responsibilities as Denmark’s honorary representative in the two Caribbean countries.
