WILLEMSTAD — In connection with an ongoing investigation into a burglary that took place in April at a business located on Caracasbaaiweg, police have made another arrest. 

On Thursday morning, members of the Atrakoteam, working in collaboration with the Arrest Team, arrested a 29-year-old man identified by the initials R.G.M., a Curaçao-born resident. The arrest occurred on the Weg naar Westpunt, near the Juan Domingo area. 

Following the arrest, a search was conducted at a residence on Kaya Reis, where several items were seized as part of the investigation. 

The suspect was brought before an assistant public prosecutor, who ordered his provisional detention pending further inquiries. 

Authorities have not disclosed further details about the items seized or the suspect’s specific role in the crime, but the investigation remains active.
