"New agreement PDVSA is not an extension contract"

WILLEMSTAD - The current contract with the PDVSA is not being extended. This according to the owner of the refinery installations, the Refineria di Korsou (RDK), which signed an agreement with the Venezuelan state oil company last week.

The contract with PDVSA expires on 31 December, but the company continues to operate the refinery in Curaçao. RDK emphasizes in a message that there is certainly no question of an extension, but of a new amended agreement.

This is valid during the transition period to a new partner and takes into account the safeguarding of sanctions by the US for doing business with Venezuela.
