WILLEMSTAD - This past Tuesday, the police conducted a traffic inspection on Pater Euwensweg. During the inspection, 55 vehicles were checked, resulting in 24 fines being issued. This means that just under fifty percent of the vehicles were not in compliance with their paperwork or other traffic regulations.
The UST team carried out the inspection between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM. The 24 fines were issued for various offenses, including driving without a valid license, expired insurance documents, unpaid road taxes, not wearing a seatbelt, and having a cracked windshield.
