WILLEMSTAD - Dutch military officers who have been deployed in a war zone or during a peace operation will be honored on Friday 21 October during the Veterans Day in Curaçao. Defense has announced this.
Veterans Day takes place in the Netherlands every year in June, but Commander of the Navy in the Caribbean, Brigadier General Frank Boots also wants to pay attention to veterans living in the Caribbean in Curaçao. That is why the Navy Barracks Suffisant has organized this Veterans Day.
The event will take place on October 21 at the Suffisant barracks and any veteran can register until October 11. It is not possible to participate in the event without an invitation.
