WILLEMSTAD - The tropical disturbance that has brought heavy rain over the past few days has moved past the ABC Islands. Despite this, the Meteorological Service of Curaçao expects more rain.
According to the Meteo, there is a local chance of moderate to heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds. Due to the saturated ground, this could lead to flooding.
Radar images show that the tropical disturbance is slowly moving away, but new showers continue to develop over the Caribbean Sea and the ABC Islands. The wet weather is expected to persist at least until Thursday.
Meteo is monitoring the weather conditions and will issue a yellow weather warning if necessary.
