Montaña Residents Invited to Community Meeting to Share Concerns and Ideas

Local, | By Correspondent April 21, 2026

WILLEMSTAD – Residents of Montaña will gather on Wednesday evening for a community meeting aimed at discussing key issues affecting their neighborhood and strengthening local engagement.

The session, organized by Curaçao Doughnut Economy, will focus on the central question: what matters most to residents in the area? Participants will have the opportunity to share concerns, ideas, and personal experiences in an open and informal setting.

The initiative is part of a broader effort to involve citizens more directly in decision-making processes within their communities. Feedback collected during the meeting will later be shared with key stakeholders, including the Governor and Curaçao Parliament.

Similar dialogue sessions have previously been held in Otrobanda, with organizers seeking to expand the approach to other neighborhoods across the island.

The Montaña meeting will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Sentro di Bario Montaña. Participation is free, and residents can register via WhatsApp at +5999 517 3273.
