WILLEMSTAD – Curaçao's Ministry of Justice has launched the awareness campaign Wòki Tòki, aiming to educate the community about prevention from multiple perspectives. Collaborating with various organizations within the ministry, the initiative introduces an innovative concept that addresses current challenges and risks, particularly focusing on youth.

The name Wòki Tòki refers to the device used for clear and direct communication during incidents or emergencies. According to Minister Hato, the Wòki Tòki symbolizes effective communication and teamwork—key themes of the campaign, which seeks to promote awareness of responsible behavior through various media and activities.
A centerpiece of the campaign is the film Wòki Tòki, directed by local producer Greyan Pastor. Featuring a talented Curaçaoan cast and crew, the film depicts the consequences of irresponsible actions, such as fires or criminal behavior.
The core message highlights the importance of making wise decisions to prevent the escalation of unwanted situations. Expert contributions from organizations such as the fire department and police have enriched the film's content.
The film is freely available on multiple platforms, ensuring accessibility for the entire community. Through this campaign, the Ministry of Justice aims to foster a safer society centered on responsible behavior.
