WILLEMSTAD – The Ministry of Governance, Planning and Public Services has announced adjusted opening hours for several public service departments during the upcoming Carnival period.
According to the ministry, on February 13 and February 17, the departments of Public Affairs (Kranshi), the Driver’s License Office in Santa Rosa, the Permit Desk, and the VL service point at Sambil will close earlier than usual. On both days, the last customers will be assisted at 11:00 a.m.
In addition, all offices of the ministry will be closed for the entire day on February 16.
The ministry emphasized that a number of services will remain available online through its digital service portal at https://loketdigital.gobiernu.cw, allowing residents to complete certain transactions remotely during the Carnival period.
Members of the public are advised to take the adjusted hours into account when planning visits to government offices. The ministry thanked the public for its understanding and cooperation.
