WILLEMSTAD - On Monday, Minister of General Affairs responsible for agriculture, environment, and nature, Gilmar Pisas, along with officials from his ministry, visited Boca Samí Beach to oversee improvement works that are in their final phase. Minister Pisas observed the various palapas and benches that have been installed, as well as the spaces designated for beachgoers to relax and enjoy nature.

In April, Minister Pisas inaugurated the new restrooms, which had been closed to the public for over 20 years. Afterward, he visited Wachi Beach, where additional restrooms were constructed, and palapas were also installed.

During his tour of Boca Samí Beach, Minister Pisas spoke with various regular visitors to the beach. These individuals provided valuable feedback regarding the operations of the General Affairs Ministry and highlighted aspects that need attention. Furthermore, the minister received detailed information about smaller issues that require resolution.

Minister Pisas made a general appeal to the public to help take care of the beaches. He emphasized the importance of not abandoning the beach and urged everyone to dispose of their trash in designated bins to keep the beaches clean and beautiful.
