WILLEMSTAD - Minister of Justice Quincy Girigorie wants a new prison. The current SDKK prison is not satisfactory, he reported in parliament yesterday. It has been constructed in the 60s of the last century.

The prison currently has 532 in-mates, 42 more than a year ago. According to the minister, the building is very outdated and therefore not safe.

For the time being it remains a wish of the minister, because he did not reveal concrete plans to the Members of Parliament.
