WILLEMSTAD – On Thursday, January 16, 2025, the Minister of Justice and Security, Mr. David van Weel, paid an official visit to the Acting Governor of Curaçao, Her Excellency Michèle Russel-Capriles.
The meeting was also attended by Mr. Gerard van Ballegooij, Director of the Directorate of European and International Affairs at the Ministry of Justice and Security (JenV), and Ms. Bo Melchers, Senior Policy Advisor at the Representation of the Netherlands in Willemstad.
Discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between various judicial and administrative partners within the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the areas of law enforcement and security.
