WILLEMSTAD – On Monday, May 26, 2025, the Dutch Minister for Climate and Green Growth, Ms. Sophie Hermans, paid a working visit to the Acting Governor of Curaçao, H.E. Michèle Russel-Capriles. 

Minister Hermans is in Curaçao to attend the Caribbean Climate and Energy Conference, and will also engage in discussions with local youth about climate issues and green growth. 

Also present at the meeting were Mr. Hamza Kacha, Program Coordinator for the Caribbean parts of the Kingdom, and Ms. Saskia de Reuver, Director of Kingdom Relations and Acting Representative of the Netherlands in Aruba, Curaçao, and Sint Maarten.
