WILLEMSTAD - As an important step to strengthen Curaçao's maritime sector, Minister Cooper of Traffic, Transport, and Urban Planning had a productive meeting with representatives from Curaçao Maritime Authority (CMAR) and Curaçao International Financial Services Association (CIFA). The conversation, addressing developments in the future of the maritime sector in Curaçao, was positively received by all parties, during which significant progress was made in the direction of joint action points.

During the meeting, various strategies were discussed to position Curaçao as a prominent maritime hub in the region. 'This collaboration marks a crucial moment in our efforts to stimulate Curaçao's economic growth through our maritime sector,' stated Minister Cooper.
Another meeting is planned in three months to address further developments and progress on the action points discussed. Minister Cooper emphasized the importance of ongoing collaboration and dialogue between CIFA, CMAR, and the government to achieve the set goals.
