WILLEMSTAD - Minister of Public Health Javier Silvania commends the work of Fundashon Prevenshon and has pledged financial support for further research, the organization announced today. Fundashon Prevenshon has been conducting population surveys for over ten years and is now working on a new project in the field of lifestyle. Silvania recently informed the foundation during a meeting that funding will continue to be available. The Lifestyle population survey aims to detect high blood pressure, diabetes, and obesity at an early stage.
"I believe in prevention, and through early detection, we can halt the growth of conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and obesity," said Minister Silvania. The Lifestyle Program is the result of the successful Lifestyle Congress held in February in Curaçao.
