WILLEMSTAD - On Monday, May 15th, Minister Charles Cooper, together with his delegation from Curaçao, met with the Minister of Housing of Colombia, Mrs. Catalina Velasco. This meeting took place within the framework of Minister Cooper's work trip to Colombia to gather inspiring and modern ideas for addressing housing needs for our community.
During the meeting with Minister Velasco, Minister Cooper and his delegation received a comprehensive presentation on the successful housing development program called 'Mi Casa Ya'. Through this project, Colombia has achieved the goal of delivering social housing units over the past 8 years.
This exchange between Colombia and Curaçao is made possible thanks to existing agreements between the two countries.
