WILLEMSTAD - Minister Charles Cooper, together with the Urban Planning Service (ROP), has officially granted a construction permit to the Alawa family for the development of their new showroom building.
The construction will take place at Mina Scharbaai, located between Veeris and Weg naar Westpunt, and will feature contemporary architecture. Ample space has been planned to accommodate visitors. The project is estimated to involve an investment of around 1 million guilders, with construction set to begin in February 2025 and completion expected in 2026.
This project is seen as a contribution to the local economy, creating temporary jobs during the construction phases and permanent employment in the new facility.
