WILLEMSTAD - The MFK faction aims to prevent unrest among the population in the run-up to the 2025 elections. During the previous elections, a large number of residents did not receive a polling card to vote.
There are particular concerns about the fact that residents cannot register a new address with the Population Register. It is also noted that not everyone always builds new houses according to the applicable rules. Illegally built houses will never receive an address, so according to the MFK, the residents of those houses will ultimately not receive a polling card.
The MFK wants to know the current status. This needs to be clarified at a public meeting, which the party has requested.
