WILLEMSTAD - The political party MFK officially kicked off its election campaign on Sunday evening with the unveiling of a new branding and slogan. The event, announced by party president and campaign leader Sithree 'Cey' van Heydoorn, took place at the party's headquarters on Lindberghweg in Salinja. The evening was highlighted by performances from Icons, One Flavaz, Los Originales, and DJ Bradley.
According to Van Heydoorn, the party will continue visiting neighborhoods and organizing fundraising activities throughout the campaign. A notable feature of this year's campaign is a car raffle linked to a car sticker promotion. "With this approach, we stay close to the people and actively involve them in our campaign," said the campaign leader.
The party’s candidate list will be revealed in January 2025. The list committee has already begun selecting candidates and will report its findings and recommendations next week. Van Heydoorn emphasized that MFK is intensifying its preparations in the coming weeks to further shape its election campaign.
With this launch, the ruling party aims to firmly establish its strategy and plans for the upcoming elections, marking the beginning of a fresh and energetic campaign.
