WILLEMSTAD – The political party Movementu Futuro Kòrsou (MFK) has officially thanked the people of Curaçao for their support in the March 21 elections. In a statement, the party described the results as historic after securing more than 55% of the votes, translating into 13 seats in the Curaçao Parliament.
Political leader Gilmar ‘Pik’ Pisas and party chairman Sithree van Heydoorn expressed their gratitude to voters for their renewed trust in the party. MFK emphasized that this success was made possible by the support of the people, party members, and sympathizers.
Recognition for Other Parties
MFK also acknowledged the efforts of Partido Nashonal di Pueblo (PNP), Partido Alternativa Real (PAR), and the MAN/PIN alliance, which also won seats in parliament. Additionally, the party extended special thanks to KEM, former MP Zita Jesus-Leito, and Corine Djaoen-Genaro for their support of the Pisas II Cabinet during a critical phase of governance.
Celebration Event on March 28
As a gesture of appreciation, MFK has invited the public to a gathering on March 28 to celebrate and express gratitude for the election results.
