WILLEMSTAD - The Ministry of Traffic, Transportation, and Urban Planning (VVRP) emphasizes the importance of safe and efficient drone usage by its employees. The data collected through drones plays a crucial role in the ministry’s daily operations. 

To ensure optimal use, the ministry organized a mandatory training program for its employees on drone operations. 

The training was designed for staff members responsible for drone handling and operations in their daily work. The program covered both theoretical and practical aspects, focusing on operational skills, technical details, regulations, safety, and privacy considerations. 

Employees from Domeinbeheer, the Projectteam Toezicht en Handhaving (PTH), and the Public Works Service participated in the training. The program aimed to strengthen the ministry’s operational capacities, ensuring that drones are utilized effectively and in compliance with all relevant guidelines. 

This initiative reflects the VVRP Ministry’s commitment to enhancing the skills of its workforce while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency in its operations.
