WILLEMSTAD - The political party MAN wants to know the truth about the letter that Grupo Internashonal Kòrsou (GIK) sent about the choice of the preferred bidder for the Isla refinery. The party calls for an emergency parliamentary meeting.
GIK accused Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas and Minister of Traffic, Transport and Spatial Planning Charles Cooper, both of the MFK party, of influencing the process and ensuring that GIK was not selected as a preferred bidder.
According to the MAN, this accusation affects the integrity of the government and the election process.
With the support of the other opposition parties Trabou pa Korsou, the PAR and KEM, the MAN is now requesting an emergency meeting with the presence of Prime Minister Pisas.
