WILLEMSTAD - In a press release, the MAN faction in parliament says it stands for social justice and human dignity. With these matters in mind, their faction questions and condemns the actions of the Minister of Finance, who, for over two years now, has been culpable for serious attacks on the direction of workers, employees of the ministry, and government department heads.
“Up to now, we note that representatives of government employees and union leaders are still being targeted on social media,” said Giselle McWilliam of the MAN faction.
MAN says it condemns this aggression by Minister Silvania and, at the same time, urges the Pisas cabinet to address this issue! Because even ministerial colleagues have come to receive a lack of collegiality, along with lies and manipulation from the minister in question.
The MAN Faction calls on the Prime Minister to address this situation before it escalates further. “Curaçao is already under considerable pressure, and we cannot continue to accept Minister Silvania's improper behavior.”
“We must protect the privacy and integrity of public employees. Just as we expect civil servants to fulfill their duties and respect their constituents, we demand that the authorities also show respect and protect the workers,” says McWilliam
