WILLEMSTAD - A man who was rushed to the emergency department of the Curaçao Medical Center in the early hours of Wednesday has died from gunshot wounds.

According to police, the victim arrived at the hospital around 2:30 a.m. in critical condition, accompanied by unidentified men who left immediately after dropping him off. Despite medical efforts, a doctor confirmed shortly afterward that the man had passed away.

The Curaçao Police Force (KPC) has launched an investigation but says it currently has limited information about the circumstances of the shooting. Authorities are calling on anyone with knowledge of the incident to come forward.

The police emphasized that community cooperation is crucial in solving violent crimes and assured that information can also be provided anonymously.
