WILLEMSTAD – A 33-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a series of incidents involving death threats, assault, and property damage, police confirmed.
The alleged offenses took place between December 2025 and early 2026 at a residence on Jumentoweg. Authorities say the incidents prompted an investigation that led to the suspect’s arrest earlier this week.
Detectives carried out the arrest in Barber on orders of the Public Prosecution Service. The suspect, a Curaçao-born man, was apprehended at a property on Jacob Binckestraat.
He has since been brought before an assistant prosecutor, who ordered that he remain in custody pending further investigation.
Police have not released additional details about the case as inquiries continue.
