WILLEMSTAD - The police arrested a 29-year-old man on Sunday morning for illegal weapon possession, as announced by the Curaçao Police Force.
The man was driving on Schottegatweg-West and displayed suspicious behavior when he saw a police car. The police pursued and apprehended him, discovering a firearm hidden in his car.
The weapon and the vehicle have been confiscated.
The suspect is in custody pending further investigation.
