WILLEMSTAD - The police carried out a major traffic check at the Punda bus station yesterday. Many bus drivers were fined because their papers were not in order.

Tinted glass is also popular with bus drivers, but it is against the law. There were also drivers who did not drive with the correct driving license.

The police indicated that they will check more often.
