WILLEMSTAD - The Ministry of Health, Environment, and Nature has announced that work will begin today to restore the lookout point at Grote Knip beach. The beach will remain open to visitors during the restoration process.
According to the ministry, both the lookout point and the flooring are in very poor condition. The restoration project is part of Prime Minister Gilmar 'Pik' Pisas' plan to refurbish and revitalize the island’s beaches for the benefit of both local residents and tourists.
Grote Knip is one of the most popular beaches in Banda’bou and is visited daily. The Ministry of Health, Environment, and Nature has apologized for any inconvenience the ongoing work may cause to beachgoers.
