LOGOS Hope Brings Glasses and Books to Curaçao Prison

WILLEMSTAD – Recently, a group of crew members from the ship LOGOS Hope carried out a meaningful project at the Curaçao Detention and Correction Center (SDKK). As part of the initiative, inmates had the opportunity to receive free eye exams and prescription glasses.

The response from the prison population was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing deep gratitude for the chance to have their vision tested and to receive corrective lenses free of charge.

In addition to the eye care, inmates who wished to do so were able to pray together with LOGOS Hope crew members. The prison also received a large donation of books, which will be added to the SDKK library collection.

The SDKK management expressed its sincere appreciation and satisfaction for the initiative, calling it a beautiful and impactful project.
