WILLEMSTAD - Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas and Minister of Economic Development Ruisandro Cijnte met with Refineria di Korsou (RdK) and Aqualectra about the use of LNG gas.
During the meeting, LNG options for the Isla refinery were discussed. Aqualectra is already converting fossil fuel production to LNG. According to the utility, this will have a positive impact on the price of electricity in the future.
In the plans for the refinery, a switch to gas must be made as soon as possible.
