Local | By Correspondent December 11, 2024

WILLEMSTAD - Limpi Recycling has opened a new location at the Sambil Mall, marking a significant milestone in its mission to transform plastic waste into reusable products and raise awareness about sustainability. The company aims to expand its impact on recycling and sustainable practices with this new facility.

Limpi Recycling is a sustainable company that manufactures new products from recycled plastic waste in Curaçao. This is achieved using self-built machines designed by the company.

The company was founded in the Netherlands, where its founders met during their studies in Industrial Product Design. "Our interest in the impact of plastic and recycling techniques led to the establishment of Limpi in Curaçao in 2018," the founders explained.

Starting modestly in a small workspace, Limpi quickly grew due to its innovative approach and the increasing demand for their products. With the new location at Sambil, the company is poised to expand its efforts and contribute even further to the local recycling and sustainability movement.
